WiPROWESS POWER STATION BRINGS PRACTICAL,PORTABLE WIRE-FREE POWER TO HIGH MOBILITY CONSUMERS

-----------------

Technology inspired byPurdue University students

LAS VEGAS,(January 6, 2010) -- Thanks to a group of Purdue University students, business travelers, college students and other on-the-go wireless users will soon have away to charge their laptops, cell phones, Kindles and iPods without the hassleof carrying around individual chargers.

Introducedthis week at CES 2010 in Las Vegas, the Power Station is a 10" x 2" lightweight strip made of ABS plastic that fits easily into a briefcase orbackpack. Plug its hidden cord into any standard electrical outlet and it's ready to charge a laptop, cell phone, iPod or any other wireless device all atonce, saving time and energy.

Power Station developer – WiProwess – will introduce the concept prototype at CES to avariety of power manufacturers who are eager to feed consumer demand forconvenient, portable wire-free power products. The Power Station was conceived from a study conducted earlier this fall among students at Purdue Universitywhere students lamented about the lack of power outlets in dorm rooms, campus libraries and other common areas. While they lauded the convenience of thewire-free charging pads and receiving constellations they were testing, most students agreed the set did not have enough portability or the capability tocharge a laptop in addition to their other wireless devices. By incorporating WildCharge’s wire-free power, three AC-outlets and three USB ports into anarrow, lightweight charging strip, WiProwess was able to provide convenience, portability and energy savings into one, simple charging unit.

“WiProwess is constantly pursuing new integrations for the fast-growing wire-free powermarket,” explains WiProwess Principal and CEO, Craig Kinley. “The Power Stationstemmed from such a simple concept yet has the power to revolutionize themarket because it’s the first practical, portable device for laptop users.”

At firstglance, the Power Station looks much like a power strip. Made with lightweight ABS plastic, the 10”L x 2”H x 2.3”W Power Station has a retractable flat bottomsurface that neatly keeps the power cord hidden when not in use. Gently pullthe bottom from its base, unwind the power cord and it’s ready to plug in. In its retracted state, the base is sturdy enough to hold the Power Stationupright, accommodating oversized power cords. The prototype design model iswhite with orange piping, although other colors and features can be custom designed.

The PowerStation uses WildCharge Technology in the charging strip and receiving constellations. WiProwess is a premier design and integration partner withPureEnergy Solutions, the leaders in wire-free power technology and developers of the WildCharge Technology. PureEnergy will also be showing its newest,award-winning reference designs at the 2010 CES (South Hall #30355).

“PureEnergy is excited to partner with companies like WiProwess that use our WildCharge technology in new and innovative ways,” said Mike Reynolds, vice president ofmarketing and sales operations for PureEnergy Solutions. “They are an important licensing partner for us and we support the launch of their product at the 2010 International CES.”

Energy Savings

The PowerStation contains one AC-power cord that plugs into any standard wall outlet.Through this single power source, users are able to plug three different electronic items (such as three laptops) into the Power Station via the AC-outlets and also place three smaller mobile devices (such as a cell phone,MP3 player and wireless reader) into the three USB ports or on the charging strip with a WildCharge receiving constellation. This allows for continuous charging of all items while using the energy of just one. It is particularly convenient when used in group settings, such as business meetings or student study groups.

WiProwess, LLC Becomes First WildCharge “Certified Design Center”

-----------------

Anderson, SC (September 8, 2009) -- WildCharge, Inc., the leader in wire-free power technology, has signed two significant agreements with WiProwess, LLC a wire-free power design and integration firm. The first agreement designates WiProwess as the only Certified Design Center for WildCharge, giving WiProwess the authority to provide design, development and integration services to companies that seek to integrate WildCharge’s wire-free power technology into their products. The Technology Licensing Agreement allows WiProwess to design, develop and market products embedded with WildCharge technology.

Wire-free power is a more efficient way of charging electronic devices such as mobile phones, laptops and hand-held gaming devices. The patented technology designed by WildCharge allows multiple devices to charge at once while using just a single electrical outlet. The technology not only saves energy and space, it also makes re-charging more convenient which diminishes the occurrence of battery down-time.

WildCharge is the first company in the wire-free power industry to have products commercially available, as well as the first to have wire-free products developed and commercially launched by licensees of its technology. As a Certified Design Center, WiProwess will accelerate the introduction of products featuring convenient WildCharge wire-free technology into the market and hands of anxiously waiting consumers.

“We’re very excited to get in on the ground floor of the explosion in wire-free power, and to do so with the category leader,” said Craig Kinley, principal of WiProwess. “WildCharge is clearly the front runner in the race to provide viable wire-free power solutions around the world. It is the only company to have the technology commercially available now, and they’ve made it extremely cost-effective and easy for our customers to begin integrating the technology into their own products.”

Kinley cited the medical, hospitality, automotive and office furniture industries as having taken an early interest in implementing wire-free power into their product/service offering.

Dennis Grant, chairman and CEO of WildCharge, said, “WiProwess is a great partner to WildCharge and they saw immediately that the applications for our technology are endless. From gaming consoles to furniture to appliances, our technology can easily be embedded into countless solutions. We are excited about expanding the adoption and use of our technology through our relationship with WiProwess. Our goal is to develop integrated product solutions that will simplify the consumer experience when it comes to charging.”

WiProwess at the CES show in Las Vegas, NV

-----------------

Las Vegas, NV (January 13, 2009) -- Wireless power was one of the newest technologies of the show. Of the 5 different companies presenting their applications, WiProwess met with WildCharge, Ecoupled (Fulton Innovations), and PowerCast. Some very interesting differences with each company. WiProwess plans to include one or more technologies within existing client products.

"Wireless power is one the most exciting solutions in the marketplace today. Imagine the convenience of always having your gadgets or tools charged, without even plugging them in!", says Craig Kinley, Principal of WiProwess, LLC.

Also a big hit at the show was how integrated technology will use WiMax and LTE as wireless networks progress.
